OCT Bootcamp

What is OCT Bootcamp?

OCT (Outdoor Circuit Training) Boot Camp is an outdoor group exercise session that mixes traditional calisthenic, cardio and body weight exercises using interval and strength training methods. The OCT Boot Camps are designed in a way that pushes the participants harder than they'd push themselves and, in that way, resembles a military boot camp.

You’ll probably get up early to run sprints, perform lots of push ups and various forms of plyometric and interval training with little rest between exercises. These fitness classes have grown in popularity over the years, primarily because they offer a new way to get a low-cost, efficient and challenging workout. These fitness classes get fast results and create a supportive and motivational community of like-minded people, creating a spirit of teamwork and group support and cohesion.

After the OCT Bootcamp you will:

Increase your energy levels
Get more done in your day
Improve concentration levels
Cope better with stress
Sleep better at night
Look healthier and feel stronger

When and where - all sessions are action packed for 45 minutes:

Various locations around Tamworth City (You will be informed after each session)

Wednesdays and Fridays - MIXED
6:15am sharp – 7:00am finish

Wednesdays - School drop off session WOMEN ONLY
8:30am sharp - 9:15am finish

Tuesday and Thursday - Coming soon

What we WILL be doing at OCT Circuits:

Getting results!
Burning fat with fun cardio drills
Using safe and effective exercises
Body weight, Boxing, Resistance and Interval training drills
Training with like-minded people
Helping you do your best!
Team fitness activities
A different session every time

What we WON’T be doing at OCT Circuits:

Leaving people behind
Pushing or pulling trucks
Going for long, slow, boring runs
Anything that’s not achievable for everyone
Repeating the same workouts
Shouting at you!

Who’s the trainer?

Our very own Pete Manning will be your Drill Sergeant for the session! Not only does Peter hold Certificate IV in Fitness Training, with a Diploma in Exercise Science and Fitness Management, he has been involved in the fitness industry for nearly 20 years, and his clients have included the Australian Defence Force and The Singapore Air Force. Peter is also the creator of Circuits4life, the resource used throughout Boot Camp and within the health and fitness industry around the world.
